Girls basketball is heating up in downtown Providence. High school summer league started at the Bank of America skating rink outside. The first night proved to be a real nail biter between the Central/Hope team and Bayview.  C/H led in the first half and the game remained tied for most of the second half. Mikaela Garvin from Hope led her team in points and the game came down to the last minute. Bayview finally gained the lead and held onto it until the clock ran out. They won the game by two points.
